نسک نسخ أَنْسَابٌ is plural. فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا : He (God) has made for him kindred by descent and kindred by marriage )25:55( وَجَعَلُوْا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ نَسَبًا : And they assert kinship between Him and the jinn )37:159( فَلا اَنْسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ : There will be no ties of relationship between them (23:102). نَسْخًا نَسَخَ ]aor. يَنْسَخُ inf. noun : He or it annulled, superseded, obliterated, effaced or cancelled a thing by another thing. نَسَخَ ايةً : )God) abrogated, annulled or superseded a verse or Sign or commandment or message substituting for it another. نَسَخَ also means he transferred a thing from one place to another. نسخ الْكِتَابَ : He copied or transcribed the writing or book. اِسْتَنسَخ and إِنْتَسَخَ and نَسَخَ are synonymous words. مَا نَفْسَخُ مِنْ آيَةٍ : Whatever message or commandment We abrogate (2:107). فَيَنْسَخُ اللَّهُ مَا يُلْقِى الشَّيْطَانُ : But Allah removes or effaces what Satan places )22:53( إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنْسِخُ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ : We caused all that you did to be fully recorded )5:30( نَسْخَةٌ : A copy or transcript; a copy or an original from which a transcript is made; a writing. وَفِي نُسْخَتِهَا هُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ : And in their writing there was guidance and mercy )7:155( تَناسُ : The transmigration of the soul from one form to another, from one body to another. نَسَفَ ]aor. يَنْسِفُ inf. noun نَسَفَ الْبِنَاءَ نَسْفًا : He destroyed or uprooted the building from its foundation. نَسَفَ الْجِبَالَ : He broke the mountain into pieces. نسَفَ الرِّيْحَ الشَّيْءَ : The wind uprooted or eradicated the thing and scattered it away. لَتَنْسِفَنَّهُ فِي الْيَمِّ نَسْفًا : We shall certainly destroy it and then we will scatter it away in the sea )20:98( وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ : And when the mountains are blown away (77:11). نَسَكَ ]aor. يَنْسُكُ inf. noun نَسْكًا and نُسْكًا and نُسُوْكًا and مَنْسَكًا[ : He devoted himself to religious worship; he performed acts of worship of God; he slaughtered animals of sacrifice to win God's pleasure. مَنَاسِكُ )singular( مَنْسَکُ( : Religious acts or ceremonies and also the place where these ceremonies are performed. وَ اَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا : And show us our ways of worship And for every people We have : وَ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنْسَكًا (2:129) 775
