قدم الْبَلَدَ )aor. يَقْدَمُ( : He came to or arrived at the town. قَدِمَ عَلَى الْاَمْرِ : He advanced boldly to undertake the affair. وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَى مَا عَمِلُوا : And We shall turn to the works they did )25:24( يَقْدُمُ قَوْمَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ : He will lead his people or go before them on the day of Resurrection )11:99( قَدَّم : He did good or evil previously or beforehand. بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ : What your hand have sent on before (3:183); he laid up in store. يَأْكُلْنَ مَا قَدَّمْتُمْ لَهُنَّ : Shall consume all that you shall have laid by )12:49( قَدَّمَهُ : He put it forward, offered it; he preferred it; he brought forward him or it; he made foremost; he put forward or brought or sent forward; he advanced him or it; he promoted him. قَدَّمَ لَهُ طَعَامًا : He preferred, offered or presented to him food. قَدَّمَهُ بِكَذَا : He prepared it or provided it beforehand for such a thing. أَنْتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا : It is you who prepared this for us )38:61( قَدَّمَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرًا : He prepared or provided in store for himself good with God. قَدَّمَهُ وَأَقْدَمَهُ : He urged him forward. قَدَّمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ : He preferred him or it to another. تَقَدَّمَ : He was bold or audacious. أَقْدَمَ عَلَى الْاَمْرِ : He ventured upon or addressed himself boldly to the thing. تَقَدَّمَ : He was or became or went before or ahead; he preceded; he advanced or went forward. تَقَدَّمَ فِي أَمْرٍ : He was forward in an affair. لا تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُوْلِهِ : Be not forward in the presence of Allah and His Prophet اِسْتَقْدَمَ : He went before. لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُوْنَ سَاعَةً وَّ لَا يَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَ : They cannot remain behind a single moment, nor can they get ahead of it )7:35( مُسْتَقْدِمِينَ )plural) of مُسْتَقْدِمٌ which is act. part. from عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ اِسْتَقْدَمَ : We do know who go ahead )15:25( قَدِيمٌ : Ancient; old; to which no commencement is assigned. مَالٌ قَدِيمٌ : Old or long-possessed property. هذا إِفْكُ قَدِيمٌ : This is an old lie )46:12( قَدِيمٌ also means the reputation of a man. )أَقْدَمُ حَسَبٌ : Comparative degree of الْأَقْدَمُوْنَ : قَدِيمٌ )plural) of آبَاؤُكُمُ الْأَقْدَمُوْنَ الْأَقْدَمُ : Your ancient sire )26:77( قَدَمٌ : The human foot, from the ankle downward. فَتَزِلُّ قَدَمٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوْتِهَا : Or (your) foot will slip after it has been firmly established )16:95( أَقْدَامٌ )plural(. وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا : And Thou make our steps firm )2:251( قَدَمٌ : Precedence or preference; rank; footing. لِفُلانٍ عِنْدَ فُلانٍ قَدَمٌ : For such a one there 685 = قدم
