غدا غدق غَادَرَهُ )inf. noun مُغَادَرَةٌ( : He left him or it, or he left him or it remaining. لا يُغَادِرُ صَغِيْرَةً : Does not leave behind or leave out or omit something small (18:50). غَدِقَ aor. يَغْدَقُ inf. noun غَدَقٌ and غَدَقَ aor. يَغْدِقُ inf. noun غَدَقَتِ . [ غَدْقًا الْعَيْنُ : The spring or fountain abounded with water. غَدَقَ الْمَطَرُ : The rain was or became copious. غَدَقَ الْمَكَانُ وَغَدِقَ : There was abundance of rain or dew in the place. غَدِقَتِ الْاَرْضُ : The land abounded with herbage or with the produce of the earth. غَدَقٌ : Abundant or copious applied to water. مَاءً غَدَقًا : Abundant water )72:17( اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَدَقًا مُغْدِقًا : God water us very abundantly. غَدَا یک ]aor. يَعْدُوْ inf. noun غُدُوٌّ and غُدْوَةٌ and غَدْرٌ [ : He went away in the early part of the morning, the period between the prayer of day break and sunrise i. e. غَدَا عَلَيْهِ غُدْوَةٌ : He came to him in the morning. الْغُدُرُّ is the contr. of غَدْوَةٌ اَلرَّوَاحُ opposed to رَوَاحَةٌ : A journey in the first part of the day. وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ : And when thou didst go early in the morning )3:122( غَدًا by reason of frequency of use has also come to mean, he went away or departed. أُغْدُ يَا أَنَسُ : Depart thou Anas. تَغَدَّى as also غَدِىَ : He ate the morning meal. غَدٌ : The morrow (originally غَدْرٌ(. The original form غَدْرٌ is used only in poetry. بِهَا يَوْمَ حَلَّوْهَا وَغَدْرًا بَلاقِعَ وَمَا النَّاسُ إِلَّا كَالدِّيَارِ وَاهْلُهَا And mankind are like dwellings, the occupants thereof being in them during the day in which they have alighted in them, and tomorrow they are vacant. مَا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَدٍ : What it sends for the morrow )59:19( غَدَاةٌ )originally غُدْوَةٌ its plural is غَدَوَاتٌ( : Early part of the morning, or simply morning and forenoon. يَدْعُوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَوةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ : They call on their Lord morning and evening )18:29( غُدُوٌّ is plural of غَدْوَةٌ meaning, the early part of the morning; the first part of the day. بِالْغُدُرِّ وَالْأَصَالِ : In the mornings and the evenings (24:37). غَدَاءٌ : The morning-meal that is eaten between daybreak and sunrise i. e. the meal of غُدْرَةٌ or of the غَدَاةٌ the meal which is cont. of عَشَاءُ ; breakfast اتِنَا غَدَاءَ نَا : Bring us our morning meal )1863( غَدَاءٌ also means, the pasture of camels in the first part of the day. 610
