طفل طلح discriminates; a child from the time to birth until he attains to puberty; any part or portion of anything; any object or small object of want هُوَ يَسْعَى فِي أَطْفَالِ الْحَوَائِجِ : He tries to accomplish small objects of want; night or the first part there-of; the sun when it is about to set; a live coal or spark of fire. أَطْفَالٌ )plural( تَطَايَرَتْ أَطْفَالُ النَّارِ : The sparks of the fire became scattered. أَطْفَالٌ also means small clouds. طفل is used both as singular and plural. أَو الطَّفْلِ الَّذِينَ : Or such young children who . . . )24:32( وَإِذَا بَلَغَ الْأَطْفَالُ مِنْكُمُ الْحُلُمَ : And when the children among you attain طَلَّ puberty (24:60). وش ]aor. يَكُلُّ inf. noun طَلَّتِ السَّمَاءُ الْأَرْضَ طَلٌّ : The sky rained small rain or drizzle upon the earth طَلَّتِ الْاَرْضُ : Weak rain or drizzle fell upon the earth. طَلَّهَا النَّدَى : The dew moistened it. طَلَّتِ السَّمَاءُ : The rain fell vehemently. طَلَّ دَمُهُ : His blood went unavenged. طَلَّهُ حَقَّهُ : He denied or refused him his right; he diminished his due; he defrauded him of his right partly or wholly طَلّ : Light or weak rain; drizzle; dew; that which is between نَدًى and مَطَرٌ rain that has little effect; فَإِنْ لَّمْ يُصِبْهَا وَابِلٌ فَطَلُّ : And if heavy rain does not fall upon it, then light rain is sufficient )2:266( يَوْمٌ طَلّ : A moist or humid day. The word also means blood; milk; beautiful or pleasing; an aged man اِمْرَأَةٌ طَلَّةٌ : A beautiful, elegant woman. طَلَبَ aor. يَطْلُبُ inf. noun طَلَبٌ and مَطْلَبٌ etc. [ طَلَبَهُ : He sought it, desired, demanded or asked for it or pursued it or tried to get it. طَلَبَ مِنِّي or طَلَبَ إِلَيَّ : He demanded it of me. يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيْئًا : Which pursued it swiftly )7:55( لَنْ تَسْتَطِيْعَ لَهُ طَلَبًا : Thou will not be able to find it )18:42( طَلَبٌ meaning finding seeking etc. طَالِبٌ act part. ): Seeking, desiring or demanding or a seeker. مَطْلُوْبٌ )pass part. ): The object or thing desired, demanded, sought after. صَضَعُفَ الطَّالِبُ وَالْمَطْلُوْبُ : Weak indeed are both the seeker and the sought )22:74( طَالِبُ عِلْمٍ : A seeker or student of knowledge. طُلابٌ and طَلَبَةٌ and طُلَّبٌ and طَالِبُوْنَ and طَلَبٌ are plurals. و طَلَحَ ]aor يَطْلَحُ inf. noun طَلَحَ الْبَعِيرُ طَلْحُ : The camel was or became fatigued or lean by reason of fatigue or disease. طَلْحٌ : The 524
