 ø  ø Ñ ø [aor. mø  »  ö Ñ ö inf. noun  ø  » Ñ º and  ô  » Ñ º ] : He spoke, said, uttered or told truth or he was true (cont. of Ò ø  ø h ø ). Imam Raghib says that  ô  » Ñ º and Ò ø  ô h º are primarily in what is said, whether relating to the past or to the future, and whether it be a promise or other than a promise; only in what is said in the way of information.  ô  » Ñ º he says, is by implication the agreeing of what is said with what is conceived in the mind and with the thing told of, together, otherwise it is not complete  ô  » Ñ º.  ø  ø Ñ ø Ê ô o ] Ö» v ø  ô m» & ô : He told or spoke the truth. ]ö æ ÖF òô Ô ø ] Ö $  ô m» à ø  ø  ø Î ö ç » ] : It is these who have proved, or who are, truthful (2:178).  ø  ø Ñ ø Ê ô o ] Ö» Ï ô jø ^ Ù ô : He fought well; he gave a good account of himself in the fight.  ø  ø Î ø ä ö ] Ö ß $  ô n» v ø è ø : He gave him sincere advice or was sincere to him in giving him advice.  ø  ø Ñ ø ] Ö  % f» x ö : The dawn shone clearly.  ø  ø Î ø ßô o » æ ø  »  ø å ü : He fulfilled his promise to me; he was true to his promise with me.  ø  ø Î ö ç » ] Ú ø ^  ø ^ â ø  ö æ ] Ö × # ä ø  ø × ø n» ä ô : Who have been true to their covenant with Allah (33:24). Öø Ï ø  »  ø  ø Ñ ø ] Ö × # ä ö  ø  ö ç » Öø ä ö ] Ö  % ¨ » mø ^ : Certainly Allah has fulfilled for His messenger the vision (48:28).  ø  $ Ñ ø : He accepted the truth. Ê ø ¡  ø  $ Ñ ø æ ø Ö ^  ø × # o : He neither accepted the truth nor said Prayers (75:32).  ø  $ Î ø ä ü : He attributed or ascribed truth to him; he accepted or believed to be true what he said; he said to him "You have spoken truth"; he held or declared him or proved him (or it) to be true or a speaker of truth; he verified him or confirmed the truth of what he said (syn. u ø Ï $ Ï ø ä ü ). æ ø  ø  $ Ñ ø ] Ö» Û ö  »  ø × ô n» à ø : He testified to the truth of the Messengers (37:38). Î ø  »  ø  $ λ k ø ] Ö  % ¨ » mø ^ : You have proved the dream to be true, or you have fulfilled the dream (37:106). æ ø  ø  $ Î ø k » eô Ó ø × ô Û ø ^ l ô  ø eôù ã ø ^ : She fulfilled in her person the words of her Lord (66:13).  ø  $ Ñ ø  ø × ø n» ã ô Ü » ]ô e» × ô n»  ö ¾ ø þ ³ ß $ þ ³ ä ü : Iblis found his calculation or judgement concerning them to be true (34:21).  ø  $ Î ø ã ö Ü » : He extracted from them the  ø Ò F ç é i. e. poor-rate. iø  ø  $ Ñ ø  ø × ø n» ä ô ]ø æ »  ø  $ Ñ ø  ø × ø n» ä ô : He gave him  ø  ø Î ø è º i. e. charity or alms. It also means, he asked or begged for charity of alms. æ ø iø  ø  $ Ñ »  ø × ø n» ßø ^ : And be charitable to us (12:89). ]ô Ö ^ $ ]ø á » m $  $  $ Î ö ç » ] : Unless they remit it as charity (4:93).  ô  » Ñ º : (1) Truth, veracity or (2) agreement of what is said with what is conceived in the mind and with the thing, of together; (3)hardness, firmness, 475   Ñ   Ñ
