شجر شت مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ : And others that are susceptible of different meanings (3:8). شَتَّ ]aor. يَشِتُ inf. noun شَتُّ and شَتَاتٌ[ : It (the state of affairs of a party) became dissolved, broken up, discarded or unsettled. تشتتوا : They became separated, disunited, dispersed or scattered. شَثٌ : Separation, disunion or dispersion. اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمُ الشَّتَاتَ a saying of the Holy Prophet) : I fear for you division, disunion. شَتُّ also means, scattered, dissolved, disunited, divided, disordered, unsettled. اَمْرٌ شَتُّ : A dissolved state of شتا قُلُوْبُهُمْ شَتّى . affair : Their hearts are divided )59:15( إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّى : Your endeavours are diverse )92:5( اَشْتَاتٌ )plural( جَاؤُوْا أَشْتَاتًا : They came separated, disunited i. e. أَنْ تَأْكُلُوْا جَمِيْعًا أَوْ أَشْتَاتًا مُتَفَرِّقِينَ : Whether you eat together or separately (24:62). ]aor. يَشْتُرْ inf. noun شَتَا الشَّتَاءُ شَعْرٌ : The winter commenced. شَـَا الْيَوْمُ : The day was or became intensely cold. شَتَوْتُ بِالْبَلَدِ : I stayed in the town during the winter. شِتَاءٌ : winter; hail that falls from the sky; drought or dearth رِحْلَةَ الشَّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ : Journey in winter and summer )1063( يَوْمٌ شَاتٍ : An intensely cold day. شَجَرَ ]aor. يَشْجُرُ inf. noun شَجَرَ الْأَمْرُ بَيْنَهُمْ شَجْرٌ : The affair or case became complicated and confused so as to be a subject of disagreement and difference between them. فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ : Respecting the disagreement or difference that has happened between them )4:66( شَجَرَهُ بِالرُّمْحِ : He thrust him with the spear. شَجَرَ الشَّجَرَةَ : He raised the hanging branches of the tree. شَجَرٌ : The kind of plant that has a trunk or stem; a tree (plural is مِنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا . (أَشْجَارٌ : Fire out of the green tree (36:81).
