زنم زمر your lot by the divining arrows (5:4). و زَمَرَ ]aor. يَزْمِرُ and يَزْمُرُ inf. noun زَمْرٌ and زَمِيرٌ[ : He played upon a reed. زَمِرَ مَالُهُ : His property became scanty. زَمَرَ also means, he had little manliness. زُمْرَةٌ )plural( زُمَرٌ( : A company of men; a party in a state of dispersion جَاؤُوا زُمَرًا : They came in parties in a state of dispersion, one after another. إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا : To the Hell in groups or parties or troops (39:72). زَمَلَ ]aor. يَزْمُلُ and يَؤْمِلُ inf. noun زَمَلَهُ زِمَالٌ 28 : He bore it or carried it or he took it up; carried it and raised it upon his back at once, namely a load; he made him to ride behind him زَمَلَهُ عَلَى الْبَعِيْرِ i. e. on the camel, or he rode with him so as to counterbalance him. زَمَلَهُ بِشَوْبِهِ : He wrapped him with his garment. مُزَّمِّلٌ : The bearer of a heavy load i. e. heavy responsibility; one wrapped-up in garment. يَأْيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ : Othou who art bearing a great responsibility or thou wrapped up in thy raiment (73 : 2). زَمْهَرَتِ الْعَيْنُ زَمْهَرَ or إِزْمَهَرَّتِ الْعَيْنُ : The eye became red by reason of anger on the occasion of some distressing event. إِزْمَهَرَّ الْيَوْمُ : The day became intensely cold. اِزْمَهَرَّ الْوَجْهُ : The face grinned so as to display the teeth إِزْمَهَرَّ الْكَوْكَبُ : The star shone الزَّمْهَرِيْرُ : Intense cold; hurting cold or (simply) cold; the moon. لا يَرَوْنَ فِيْهَا شَمْسًا و لا زَمْهَرِيرًا : They will find there neither excessive heat nor excessive cold (76:14). كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنْجَبِيلًا زَنْجَبِيلٌ : Tempered with ginger )76:18( زَنْجَمِيلٌ : Ginger. زَنَمَ or زَنَمُوا إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْخَصِمَ : [زَنَّمَ : They sent to me this adversary in order that he might contend in an altercation or dispute with me. زَنَمَةٌ : A mark made by cutting off a portion of the ear. تَزْنِيمٌ The cutting of small portion of the ear of an animal and leaving it hanging together to serve as a sign or mark; conjoining any one with a people or party to which he does not belong. زَنِيمٌ : One adopted among people to whom he does not belong (and some say) not being needed as though he were a زَنَمَةٌ ; base ignoble or mean; of doubtful birth; the son of an adulteress. عُلٌ 364
