دار He : دَارَ حَوْلَهُ or دَارَ عَلَيْهِ or دَارَ بِالْبَيْتِ اسْتَدَارَ and دَوْرٌ inf. noun يَدُورُ . aor] دهن دار 28 went round, circled or revolved round the house. دَارَ : He or it returned to the place from which he or it began to move. دَارَ بَيْنَهُمْ : It (athing, for instance, a wine-cup) went round them. دَارَ )said of an event) : It came about. The word also means, he reasoned in a circle. دَارَتِ الْاَيَّامُ : The days came round in their turns دَارَ بِهِ : It went round with him, as the ground seems to do with a person sick by reason of giddiness in the head. فُلانٌ يَدُوْرُ عَلَى أَرْبَعِ نِسْوَةٍ : Such a one has four wives. أَنَا أَدُوْرُ حَوْلَ 1 : ذَلِكَ الْأَمْرِhave within my compass or power that thing or affair . تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ : Their eyes rolling )33:20( تِجَارَةً حَاضِرَةً تُدِيرُوْنَهَا بَيْنَكُمْ : Ready merchandise which you give or take from hand to hand )2:283( دار )syn. مَوْضِعُ and مَثْوًى( : A house; a mansion, especially a large or big house; a place of abode which comprises a building or space in which there is no building; an abode a dwelling. سَأُرِيْكُمْ دَارَ الْفَسِقِينَ : I shall show you the abode of the transgressors )7:146( فَأَصْبَحُوْا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ : So they lay prostrate in their homes )7:92( فَخَسَفْنَا بِهِ وَبِدَارِهِ الْأَرْضَ : So We caused the earth to swallow him up and his dwelling )2882( الدَّارِ الْآخِرَةِ : The abode of the Hereafter )295( دَارُ الْقَرَارِ : The home for permanent stay or permanent abode )40:40( دَارُ الْخُلْدِ : Immortal or everlasting home )41:29( دَارُ الْبَوَارِ : The abode of ruin )14:29( دَارُ السَّلام : The abode of peace )6:128( دَارُ الْمُقَامَةِ : The Abode or Mansion of Eternity )35:36( دَارُ الضَّرْب : The mint ; دَارُ الْفَنَاءِ : The perishable abode دَارُ الْبَقَاءِ : The Everlasting Abode دَارُ الْحَرْبِ : The abode or country of the enemy or enemy country. دار also means, a country or district; a city, town or village. The plural is دِيَارٌ and دُورٌ لک : فَجَاسُوا خِلالَ الدِّيَارِ They went forth from their homes : خَرَجُوْا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ They ravaged your cities or your country or your homes (17:16) also signifies, atribe. مَرَّتْ بِنَا دَارُ بَنِي فُلانٍ : The tribe of the sons of such a one passed by us.
