خطئ خطب an act of disobedience for which he deserved punishment; or he committed a fault or an offence or an act of disobedience (in an absolute sense); or he committed a fault or an act of disobedience intentionally. خَطِيٌّ is also syn with أخطأ but according to some whereas خطى means, he committed a fault in religion,أخطأ means he did wrong intentionally or otherwise. اَخْطَاً also means, he did wrong, meaning to do right. They say خَطِفْتَ بِمَا صَنَعْتَهُ : Thou didst wrong in that which thou didst unintentionally and أَخْطَلْتَ مَا صَنَعْتَهُ : Thou didst wrong in that which thou didst intentionally . أَخْطَأَ الطَّرِيقَ : He deviated from the : فِيْمَا أَخْطَأْتُمْ . The archer missed the mark : اَخْطَأُ الرَّامِي الْعَرَضَ . way If : إِنْ نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا 28 。 28 Any mistake you unintentionally make (33:6). we forget or fall into error )2:287( خِطّاً : Intentional mistake; a sin; a crime; an act of disobedience for which one deserves punishment. إِنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ كَانَ خِطْاً : Surely, the killing of them is a great sin )17:32( خطاً : A mistake; an error.
