حصر حصد seed-produce; harvest that is cut down; seed produce torn up and carried away by the wind; slain or cut down with the sword like reaped seed-produce. حَبَّ الْحَصِيْدِ : Grain that is reaped; grain of wheat and barley, etc. that is reaped )50:10( مِنْهَا قَائِمٌ وَحَصِيدٌ : Of them some are standing and some have been mown down like the reaped seed produce (11:101). حَصَرَ ]aor. يَحْصُرُ and يَحْصِرُ inf. non حَصَرَهُ حَصْرٌ : He or it straitened, even passed or surrounded him; he or it confined, imprisoned, detained, restrained, withheld or prevented him. أَحْصَرَهُ : It (a( disease or hostile party) detained, restrained, withheld or prevented him from journeying or from a thing which he desired. حَصَرَهُ : He took the whole of it, acquired it, took it to himself. حَصَرَ الرَّجُلُ : The man was or became unable to express his mind; the man faltered in speech by reason of shame or confusion of mind. حَصِرَ بِالسِّرِّ : He concealed the secret; حَصِرَصَدْرُهُ : His bosom became straitened. حَصِرَعَنْهُ : He was unable to do it. حَصِرَ : He was or became niggardly : حَصِرَ فِي الْقِرَاءَ ةِ: He faltered in reading. جَاءُ وَكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُوْرُهُمْ : They come to you while their bosoms shrink from fighting you )4:91( لِلْفُقَرَاءِ الَّذِيْنَ أُحْصِرُوْا فِي سَبِيْلِ اللَّهِ : For the poor who are detained in the cause of Allah )2:274( وَخُذُوْهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوْهُمْ : And take them and beleaguer them )95( مُحَاصَرَةٌ) حَاصَرَهُمُ الْعَدُوُّ inf. noun ) : The enemy besieged or beleaguered them. حَصُوْرًا : One who has no sexual intercourse with women though able to have it, abstaining from them from a motive of chastity; who is prevented from having it by impotence; who does not desire them or approach them; castrated; very careful or cautious; who abstains from a thing through fear. حَصُوْرًا وَنَبِيًّا : Chaste and a Prophet )3:40( حَصِيرٌ means a king, because he is secluded or because he prevents those who go to see him from having access to him; a prison; a mat woven of reeds; a garment or ornamented piece of cloth captivates hearts by its beauty when spread out; a bed; a sitting place; the surface of the ground; water; a road or way; a row of men وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا : And We have made the Hell a prison for the disbelievers; 20 187 لک لگ
