حصب مُحْسِنَةٌ is the plural of مُحْسِنَاتٌ ( أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَاتِ مِنْكُنَّ (16:129) good حشر which is feminine of مُحْسِنُ( : He (God) has prepared for the women among you who do good (33:30). حَشَرَ ]aor يَحْشُرُ and يَحْشِرُ inf. noun حَشَرَ النَّاسَ حَشْرٌ : He collected the people; He collected the people and drove them. حَشَرَهُ عَنْ وَطَنِه : (1) He banished him from his native country; (2) he compelled him to emigrate. حَشَرَتْهُمُ السَّنَةُ : The year of dearth destroyed their camels and other quadrupeds. حَشَرَ السِّكِينَ : He made the knife sharp and thin. وَإِذَا الْوُحُوْشُ حُشِرَتْ : The wild animals shall be collected together or shall be raised to life )81:6( وَحَشَرْنَهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا : And We shall gather them together and will not leave anyone of them )18:48( لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِي أَعْمَى : Why hast Thou raised me up blind )20:126( حَشْرٌ : Gathering collecting; bringing together. ذَلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ : That is a gathering easy to Us )50:45( لأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ : At the first banishment, a reference to the banishment of Bani Nadhir, a Jewish tribe of Medina, by the Holy Prophet, after the battle of Uhad as a punishment for their treachery. حَاشِرٌ : One who collects together or congregates; a collector of spoils حَاشِرِيْنَ )plural of وَأَرْسِلْ حَاشِرٌ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَشِرِينَ : And send into the cities summoners )7:112(. مَحْشُوْرَةٌ : Things or beings collected. وَالطَّيْرَ مَحْشُوْرَةٌ : And the birds gathered together )38:20( مَحْشَرٌ : A place of congregation. يَوْمُ الْحَشْرِ : The Day of Resurrection يَوْمُ الْمَحْشَرِ : The Day of Resurrection. حَصَبَ ]aor. يَحْصُبُ and يَحْصِبُ inf noun حَصْبٌ and حَصَبَهُ حَصَبٌ : He threw at him, or pelted him with pebbles; he pelted him حَصَبَتِ الرِّيْحُ بِالْحَصْبَاءِ : The wind cast or drove along pebbles. حَصَبَ النَّارَ : He threw firewood into the fire; he kindled the fire with fire wood. حَصَبٌ : Stone or stones; fire-wood or what is thrown into the fire; fire-wood prepared for fuel; firewood with which a fire is lighted. حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ : The fire wood or fuel of Hell )21:99(. حَاصِبٌ : A pelter or thrower of stones. هُوَ حَاصِبٌ لَيْسَ بِصَاحِبِ : He is a thrower of stones i. e. a calumniator, and not a friend. ريح حَاصِبٌ : A violent wind that raises the pebbles (as also حَاصِبَةٌ 185
