136 A critical Review of the Pamphlet—‘f a te h -e-Qadian’ the Mosque Committee, declaring it to be a clear breach of trust on Chishti’s part. On August 24, 1989, Maulav i Musht a q Chisht i obtained the signatures of a few of his supporters to approve that 2/3 of the funds collected for the mosque were to be used for the Ahle Sunnat community and remainder to be dedicated to Jami‘ah Islamiyyah 66 , and that he himself will be its custodian. Then, to devour these funds, he opened an account in the name of two false institutions: 1. Sunn i Trust 2. J a mi‘ah Isl a miyyah Maulav i Musht a q Chisht i used these institutions for his fraud with the funds of the central Sunn i Jam a ‘at of Norway. The above misappropriation of funds were well publicized in Pay a m-e-Mashriq registered in Moss, Norway, volume 8, number 11, issue of November 1989. Similarly, his misdeeds were published in a tract and distributed on the occasion of ‘ I d Mil a dun-Nab i (Celebration of the birth of the Prophet sa ). Then, he conferred such titles on his disciples as conspirators, mischievous, hypocrites and Jewish lobby, and did not realize that he himself was their Imam and their leader so what would that make his own position? Eventually, Maulav i Musht a q Chisht i did admit his disgrace but blamed it on the Ahmadis, alleging they had had a hand in it. In October 1989, in four episodes of the Radio Norway’s Urdu service, he was pronounced to be a deceiver, fraudulent cheat and a devourer of mosque funds. 66 Islamic school [Publishers]
