Truth has come and falsehood has vanished 135 Ahmad, the then Imam of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, gave the mub a halah 65 challenge to the leaders of our adversaries and to the leading disbelievers, Maulav i Musht a q Chisht i had also accepted this challenge. This was reported in the Millat newspaper of London, dated December 24 th and 25 th , 1988, but prior to that he had written in the September issue of the monthly Tarjum a n-e- Islam of Norway: We have already given a mub a halah (prayer duel) challenge to Mirz a [Ta hir Ahmad ] , but Qadian i s are fleeing from it. In the same issue, Maulav i Musht a q Chisht i also wrote: Now, for the fourth time we are accepting this mub a halah challenge. Accepting this challenge, Maulav i Musht a q Chisht i prayed for the defeat and ruin of the Jam a ‘at of the one who had been commissioned by God. As we demonstrate below, his crying and bewailing rent his own honour and defeated him and frustrated him and also defamed him. On February 13, 1989 — approximately two months after the then Imam of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community had given the mub a halah challenge — Maulav i Musht a q Chisht i transferred 80% of the funds which the government had allocated for the education of children into his son’s name. This transfer was later anulled by 65 A prayer duel as prescribed in the Holy Quran in A l-e-‘Imr a n 3:62 [Publishers]
