The commentary of al-Qa si dah 77 help of His servants. All a h announced to His servants in the Holy Qur’ a n that I am seeing what is happening to you and I give you permission to respond. I am the Almighty God and I will not let the cruel go without punishment. This is the commandment that was given the name jihad. ( The British Government & Jihad, R uha n i Khaz a ’in , vol. 7, p. 5–6) All a h testifies in the Holy Qur’ a n that the believers were wronged: ᅓ ۙ ᅓ. . . Permission (to fight) is given to those against whom war is made, because they have been wronged-and All a h indeed has power to help them. Those who have been driven out from their homes unjustly only because they said, ‘Our Lord is All a h’… ( al- H ajj , 22:40–41) This illustrates that not only were they considered to have been wronged in the view of All a h, but in the eyes of the public as well. Therefore, their steadfastness was due to the special favour of All a h.
