C H AP T E R T WO — FU L F IL M E N T OF PR OPHE C IE S 189 اعیقش یک ےہ العتم رگ� ی و داامن ِ دتش ے ےئل وہ اابکشر ز ی ق ک ی ا ابمرک آھکن وج � It is a sign of love to weep and roam the wilderness; How blessed is the eye that sheds tears for You! ب ص�ی� � � ےب یھب وکیئ راتہ ی ہ � � ی م درہگ ی ز ی ق � رشط رہ رپ ربص ےہ اور رتک ِ انم ِ ارطضار None returns from Your court empty-handed, But the condition for this path is to persevere and to abandon even the trace of impatience. ے مکح ےس آ� ی ا رگم اوسفس ےہ ز ی ق وت � ی م لچ ریہ ےہ وہ وہا وج رہنخ ادناز ِ اہبر I came with Your command, but, alas! Such wind is blowing as hinders the advent of the spring. ی ا ےک ولگ � رِگ ےئگ د� ز � �یکس ی ا ہپ � د� ٴ �یفہ ب � وخار م�ُردار ی ہ زدنیگ کیااخک اُن یک وجہک � People of the world have fallen for the carcass of the world; Miserable indeed is the life of those who devour carrion. ےہ اجیت آرخ یھب ا ی � د� ےس اہھت رک دے د�ی وک ی داےئ �یار ش س نب اعقش و ی ہ � وکیئ آوسدہ � Abandoning the Faith, one ultimately loses the world as well; No one prospers but he who loves and adores the Beloved. رت وخب ےہ ی ہ � � رتگن وکیئ وقتیٰ ےس رگن اگنسر اك ی د� ہ ی ز�ی ور ےہ � اك ا�ی اں ہ ی ےہ � No colour is more beautiful than the colour of taqw a [righteousness]; This alone is the adornment of faith and this alone is the embellish- ment of religion. نب رُوےئ دربل روینش ی ہ � وس ڑچےھ وسرج � اتر و ی اتر� بش ےہ ولصِ دربل ےب �ی اہجں A hundred suns may rise, but there can be no light without beholding the countenance of the Beloved; This world, without union with the Beloved, is a pitch dark night.
