Footnote Number Eleven — First Objection 73 اےن ردس ن ی ن وش ات رب وت � ت ی ن � ردس اجےن اتدِرگ �اں ش �ب�یف� اجں Negate yourself completely, so that you may receive favours of God; Lay down your life so that you are given a new life. ٴ رطضمہن و اعزج و زار اتوت ٴ رربہہن ِ آں ان ن ی ن � ِ القئ Unless you realize that you are helpless, weak and distressed, You cannot be worthy of the favours of that Guide. �یایتف را رخد آومزش ز وُچں اتیتف رس رچا ش � عل�یم �ت ز سپ Since you found reason through the knowledge He taught you, Why then do you turn away from His teachings? دماں رونش را ش ی ِ وخ� ادنرون آامسں ز اتبدب اتدب یم آہچن Do not think that your heart is enlightened, Whatever has light, owes it only to the heavens. ت ی ن ونر� ی وکر تسہ آں د�ی دہ شک ا� ت ی ن ہ زککش دُور � ن وگرتسہ آں س�ی� Blind is the eye that is devoid of this light, The heart that is not free from doubt is just a grave. ا ق�ی� ت ا� و ن ی ت اصد� و ن ی� ح� ل اص دخا ٴ ویح از د�ی ددن رہ ہلمج The righteous, the truthful, and the God-fearing, All found the right path through the revelation of God. عقلے ہک از وخد دادنش آں اجک امہفدنش او ہک ےصخش آں د ہم� ف� Where is the reason that can fathom God on its own? Only he can understand this, whom God Himself enables to understand. داری رباہ ُت ب � ش ی لقع ےب و ح اگپہ و اشم ُن اہک تُب رپیتس Without His revelation, your reason is like an idol barring your way, And you indulge in idol-worship day in, day out.
