— Part I 138 Introducing the Holy Founder of Islam, Muhammad sa , and the Quran in the context of justice, Allah says: All praise belongs to Allah Who has revealed to His servant a book in which he has placed no crookedness. (S u rah al-Kahf; Ch. 18: V. 2) None of the Quran’s teachings are without purpose. In other words, if one were to study the Quran from A to Z, one would not detect even the slightest of deviations from the middle path in its teachings. It does not lean towards any particular nation or ideology. It is a perfectly balanced and well-poised book, with a character of universality that deals with humanity at large. As the Arabic preposition f i (in) can be used in conjunction with ‘Abd or servant of God (i. e. Muhammad sa ), the above verse can also be translated as 'All praise belongs to Allah who has revealed a book to His servant; a servant in whom there is no crookedness. ' Elaborating this further, Allah declares that Muhammad sa had been sent as a guide for the entire world. His light is not confined to any one people or to any geographical territory, but is intended for the illumination of the whole of mankind:
