48 THE VICTORY OF ISLAM با خرابات آشنا بیگانه از کوئی ہدی نفرت از ارباب دیں باقی پرستاں ہم نشیں They are accustomed to wasteful pursuits, but are alien to the path of guidance; They despise the devout, yet revel in the company of those who worship wine. رو بگر دانید دلدارے کہ صد اخلاص داشت چوں ندید اندر دل ای قوم صدق المخلص The Beloved, who earlier had earnest love for them, has turned His face away from them, Because He did not see the sincerity in their hearts that is the mark of the truly faithful. شومئے اعمال شان آورد ایامے چنیں آن زمان دولت واقبال ایشان در گذشت The era of their prosperity and glory has expired; Now the curse of their evil deeds has ushered in times like these. باز چون آید بیاید ہم ازیں رہ بالیقیں از رہِ دیں پر وری آمد عروج اندر نخست Every greatness conferred upon them came through the path of serving the Faith; Most certainly, if they achieve it again, it will be through the same path. یا الہی باز کے آید ز تو وقت مدد باز کے بینیم آن فرخندہ ایام و سنیں O God! When will the time of Your help come? And when will we see those auspicious days and years?
