64 A VERDICT REQUIRED It is a rather obvious fact that if God Almighty gives a promise to do something up to a period of time whenever He so desires, can man object why He didn't specify a particular time? Of course, if God Almighty were to set a specific time frame and state in clear terms that the prophecy will not manifest until this entire period passes, and until the last minute or the last second of it comes, then it would be necessary in that case for the prophecy to be fulfilled in the last second of that period. But when God, in His wisdom, sets a time period and declares that He will accomplish a certain task within that period whenever He so wills, then to object to such a prophecy is to question the entire enterprise of God Almighty. Moreover, the prophecy in relation to Lekh Ram carries great significance as it not only specified a term of six years, but had also foretold that he would meet his punishment on a day which would be connected to the day of Eid. Accordingly, the title ‘Calf of Samirī' was given to Lekh Ram for the very reason that the [golden] calf was burnt on the day of a [Jewish] festival. The rev- elation [regarding Lekh Ram] also clearly spoke of the Eid day and this became so well known that hundreds of Hindus became aware of this revelation. The revelation and vision also stated in clear terms that it would be a dreadful death and would occur through murder. The vision also alluded to the fact that the day of the death would be a Sunday and it would occur at night. Now, behold how many of the loftiest matters of the unseen abound within this prophecy! So now, isn't it true that if all these aspects are considered collectively, and the prophecy from Barāhīn is factored in as well, then, without a doubt, it draws the inevitable conclusion that these prophecies are extraordinary and completely beyond human capabilities?
