62 A VERDICT REQUIRED that of the resolute Prophets is needed. It was also said that this fitnah would ultimately be eradicated. These are the three fitnas that were mentioned in Barāhīn, and all three have come to pass. The fitnah of the brilliant Sign was not limited to mere verbal uproar, but on 8 April 1897, our house was also searched, in order to fulfil the prophecy concealed in nam- ing me Īsā. Now, just as reading Barāhīn-e-Ahmadiyya discloses the information of these three fitnas, similarly if anyone reads the pages of my life's events that have transpired since the time when Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya was published to this day, even then they would have to acknowledge that only three fitnas have occurred externally. Through these investigations, not only is the proph- ecy made regarding Lekh Ram strengthened by this supporting evidence, but the prophecy made about Atham also becomes as evident as the rising sun. In short, by carefully examining these three fitnas, one becomes aware of the absolute power of God. This is such an episode that should not be put aside with idle remarks; rather, it should be pondered upon with undivided attention. Undoubtedly, the pure soul and pure conscience of a seeker of truth can be liberated from many veils by attaining insight from this situation. Without a doubt, at this point the question naturally arises that if the prophecies regarding Atham and Lekh Ram were not from God Almighty but were merely coincidental events, then how were both of these prophecies written in Barāhīn-e-Ahmadiyya seven- teen years ago? Where and what direction can any fair-minded person run from the fact that just as the Signs of three fitnas are discovered from external events, Barāhīn-e-Ahmadiyya also pro- vides information about these three fitnas?
