And can it occur to the mind of an intelligent man that all these branches of the prophecy which are beyond human capabilities, should spring forth at once in support of a lie? It is necessary to state at this point that whatever is in the hands of the Aryah gentlemen to refute this prophecy, it is no more than that-out of ill will- instead of reflecting upon the wondrous works of God, they have adopted the habit of giving the possibility of human schemes the very status which is unique to the works of the Omnipotent God. Since this prophecy had been in existence for a little more than four years and it had become known to the Hindus through speeches at various gatherings as well as writings, that it was writ- ten in the prophecy that Lekh Ram's life would end in a terrify- ing manner, and, moreover, that his demise would occur during the days of Eid within six years, and the prophecy in its explicit wording indicated an incident of murder, they, therefore, deemed it highly improbable that a prophecy from Almighty God would come with such explicit details and signs. They did not consider it plausible that any man could disclose all these matters of the unseen before their occurrence and then demonstrate their com- plete fulfilment. Hence, they attributed this Divinely revealed prophecy to human machination and repeatedly published in newspapers, with great insistence, that making such a clear prophecy and stating the date, day, and manner of death in such an open and unveiled manner prior to the event is not the practice of God; nay rather, the truth is that this very person—namely, this writer- is Lekh Ram's murderer, and this prophecy is the product of
