HADRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD AS readers, before attempting a reply to this pamphlet, should like to see the "SIRAJ-I-MUNIR”, it shall be sent to him with great pleasure. I should also mention that those Maulvies, who-like the Aryas-bewildered by the too accurate and unexpected fulfilment of the prophecy, and who, being utterly devoid of spirituality, are befogged by doubt, will find it worth their while to peruse this book. I send this pamphlet to you so that after a careful con- sideration of the arguments I have given, you may give your impartial opinion as to the following points: 1. Has the prophecy about Lekh Ram been actually fulfilled? 2. If so, can it be said that the prophecy is supernatural; that is, neither a design of man nor a mere accident, but a special manifestation of the Divine powers which may be termed a revealed prophecy? And communicate the same with your arguments in support of your views to: KADIAN Dated 1st May 1897 Your ever faithful, MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD Chief of Kadian Gurdaspur District Punjab 7
