QASIDAH [ODE] In praise of our Master and Spiritual Guide, the Promised Messiah, may Allah guard him against all harm by: The humble servant, Rahmat Ali of Barnawa ای ذات تو کان گوہر علم دانی تو بہائی جو ہر علم O the one who is the mine of the pearls of knowledge! Only you know the value of the jewels of knowledge. از علم دل تو گنج بر گنج و ز خامه کشاده در علم Your heart has become a brimful treasure of knowledge, And your pen has opened the door of knowledge. علمت بذات روح پرور تو آمدی روح پرور علم While knowledge nourishes the soul, You have come to nourish the spirit of knowledge! تو نافه کشائی بردة راز تو نشر عنبر علم You have unveiled secrets, And spread the fragrance of knowledge.
