Chapter 12 TRANSLATION GUIDE General Information The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has inherited a wealth of literature from the Promised Messiah as and his Successors. This invaluable treasure is primarily preserved in the Arabic, Urdu, and Persian languages. As the Community grows, expands and flour- ishes, it is becoming more and more crucial that these holy texts be translated into various languages and spread throughout the world for that wider audience to experience these spiritual gems. Numerous official bodies within the Community are tasked with the responsibility of translating these source texts into the English language, under the guidance of Hadrat Khalifatul- Masiḥ, may Allah be his Helper. Various individuals also render this service, while others aspire to do the same. This growing effort requires standardization to ensure the consistency and quality of translations.
