136 THE SHINING LAMP حُجَّةُ اللَّهِ الْقَادِرِ وَسُلْطَانِ أَحْمَدِ مُخْتَارِ. The instrument of Allah the All-Powerful and Vicegerent with royal authority—of Ahmad the Chosen [Prophet of God]. And the date written was: سوموار کا روز انیسویں ذی الحجه ۱۳۰۰ مطابق ۲۲ اکتوبر ۱۸۸۳ء اور ششم کاتک سمت ۱۹۴۰ بکرم۔ This is Monday, 19 Dhul-Hajj 1300 AH, 22 October 1883 CE, 6 Kātak 1940 Bikrami. This entire text is available on pages 515 and 516 of Barāhīn-e- Ahmadiyya. This vision reveals that a Sign will be manifested by means of a weapon. Consequently, the Sign of Lekh Ram was manifested exactly thus. Then after this, on page 5162 this revela- tion is recorded: أَلَيْسَ اللهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ. فَبَرَّأَهُ اللهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا . وَكَانَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَجِيْهَا. فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكَّا . وَ اللهُ مُؤْهِنُ كَيْدِ الْكَافِرِينَ. وَلِنَجْعَلَهُ آيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا . Meaning: Is God not sufficient for His servant? So God cleared him of the charge that was made against him by the disbelievers and he has a high standing in the estima- tion of God.
