Hazrat Sahibzadah Abdul-Lateef 126 Hourie —The Holy Quran describes rewards for righteous servants of God in the afterlife. They will live with pure and clean compan- ions whose faces will be shining with radiant spiritual beauty. These are called Houries. Khalifah— Means ‘successor’. A Khalifah is the successor of a Prophet and leads the commu- nity after the Prophet has passed away. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sas had four succes- sors/Khalifahs. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ah- mad as, the Promised Messiah as has five succes- sors so far. The current and the fifth successor is Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad aba. Portending —A sign or warning of a future event.
