BUDD<mark>HIS</mark>M be the very ultimate of tranquillity. Returning from t<mark>his</mark> ecstatic state to normal life, one has a strong impression of having gained something which might well have been the very purpose of life - the goal which mankind is striving to reach. . T<mark>his</mark> psychological experience is all that they can boast of as spiritual enlightenment and redemption from the bondage of matter. Even at its very best, it cannot change any objective realities or reform the wicked people. It cannot transfer a jot from the world of the unkn<mark>own</mark> to the world of the kn<mark>own</mark> - it cannot change darkness into light. . Never has inspiration been able to retrieve the unkn<mark>own</mark> events buried in the graves of <mark>his</mark>tory, nor has it ever been able to leap into the future to catch a glimpse of events to come. . If the philosophy of absolute self-negation is followed to its logical conclusion, it will inevitably lead to the extinction of the human race. To ascribe t<mark>his</mark> inspirational jibberish to the Divinely enlightened wisdom of Buddhaas does him no honour; t<mark>his</mark> is not the Divine cup of revelation from which he drank deep and became immortalised! 150
