Relationship between Religion and Politics in Islam

    لَا تَبۡدِیۡلَ لِخَلۡقِ اللّٰہِ

    There is no altering the creation of Allah.

  • 19

    لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ

    There should be no compulsion in religion.

  • 20

    اِنَّمَاۤ اَنۡتَ مُذَکِّرٌ

    For thou art but an admonisher;

  • 20

    لَسۡتَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ بِمُصَۜیۡطِرٍ

    Thou hast no authority to compel them.

  • 24

    مَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُہٗ عَلَی اللّٰہِ

    Whoso forgives and his act brings about reformation, his reward is with Allah.

  • 25

    لَکُمۡ دِیۡنُکُمۡ وَلِیَ دِیۡنِ

    For you your religion, and for me my religion.

  • 26

    لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ

    There should be no compulsion in religion.

  • 29

    اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یَاۡمُرُ بِالۡعَدۡلِ

    Verily, Allah enjoins justice.

  • 29

    وَلَا یَجۡرِمَنَّکُمۡ شَنَاٰنُ قَوۡمٍ عَلٰۤی اَلَّا تَعۡدِلُوۡا ؕ اِعۡدِلُوۡا ۟ ہُوَ اَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوٰی

    And let not a people’s enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness.
