PT. 29 فيها ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمُ إخْرَاجًا وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًان لِتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًان CH. 71 NŪḤ 19. "Then will He cause you to return thereto, and He will bring forth a new bringing you forth. 4394 20. bAnd Allah has made the earth for you a wide expanse 21. "That you may traverse the open ways thereof. " R. 2. قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَونِي وَاتَّبَعُوا Noah said, “My Lord, they. 22 مَنْ لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدَةٌ إِلَّا خَسَارًان وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ الهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَذَا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوْثَ وَيَعُوقَ gods. And forsake neither وَنَسْرَّان have disobeyedd and followed one whose wealth and children have only added to his ruin. 23. And they have planned a mighty plan. 24. And they say to one another, "Forsake not your Wadd nor Suwa‘, nor Yaghūth and Ya'uq and Nasr. The inorganic constituents of the earth, through a subtle process of change, become converted into the life-germ through the agency of food which man eats. 4394. Commentary: The reference in the verse is to the Resurrection. Man will get a new life in the Hereafter in which his works and actions done in this life will assume the form of rewards and punishments of Heaven and Hell. 3232 4395. Important Words: ود ور (Wadd) is derived from (Wadda). They say » i. e. he loved him or it. » (Wadd) was an idol worshipped by the tribe of Banu Kalb in Daumatul-Jandal. It was in a man's figure, representing manly power. ساع Suwa is derived from) سواع They say i. e. the thing was wasted (Lane). ε was an idol which the Banu Hudhail worshipped. It was in a woman's shape, representing female beauty. غات Yaghath is derived from) يغوث They say i. e. he aided or helped
