PT. 29 AL-MULK CH. 67 b فَامْشُوا فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِهِ so walk in the spacious sides وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ thereof, and eat of His provision. And unto Him will be the resurrection. 4296 ا مِنْتُمْ مَّن فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يُخْسِفَ بِكُمُ Do you feel secure from. 17 Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to sink with you when lo! it begins to shake?4297 الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ اَمْ أَمِنْتُمْ مَّنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يُرْسِلَ Do you feel secure from. 18 Him Who is in the heaven that عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا فَسَتَعْلَمُوْنَ كَيْفَ He will not send against you نَذِيرِ a sandstorm? Then will you know how terrible was My warning. وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ And indeed those before. 19 كَانَ نَكِيرِه them also treated My Messengers as liars; then how grievous was My punishment! 20. Have they not seen out أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صفت birds above them, Spreading the وَ يَقْبِضْنَ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا their wings without moving them and then drawing them in "6:66; 16:46; 17:69; 34:10. 16:80. 4296. Commentary: Journeying in the earth is recommended again and again in the Quran, because leaving one's home and travelling to other lands and countries helps to add to one's knowledge and experience. The verse also recommends making full use of mountains, which may also signify entertaining high ambitions and lofty aspirations, as the word which also means a lofty 3191 place, suggests. 4297. Commentary: It is because punishment is generally spoken of in the Quran as coming down from heaven that God is referred to, here and in the next verse, as being in heaven; otherwise God is here, there and everywhere. "He is in the heaven and He is in the earth and He is where man is, even nearer to him that his jugular vein" (43:85; 50:17 & 57:4).
