PT. 27 AL-HADID مَا أَصَابَ مِنْ مُّصِيبَةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ any وَلَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ إِلَّا فِي كِتَبِ مِنْ قَبْلِ your own persons, but it is انْ نَّبْرَاهَا إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرُةٌ CH. 57 23. There befalls not calamity either in the earth or in recorded in a Book before We bring it into being—surely, that is easy for Allah- 4165 لِكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ That you may not grieve. 24 over what is lost to you nor وَلَا تَفْرَحُوْا بِمَا أَنكُمْ وَاللهُ لَا يُحِبُّ exult because of that which He كُل مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍة has given to you. And Allah loves not any self-conceited boaster, الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ Such as are niggardly and. 25 بِالْبُخْلِ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ niggardly. And whoso turns his الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ in the مغفرة من الله و رضوان comment for also enjoin upon men to be back, then surely Allah is Self- Sufficient, Worthy of all praise. "3:154. 4:38. Hereafter. Moreover, the fact that Paradise as conceived by the Quran is as extensive as both the heavens and the earth the whole space-shows that it comprises Hell also. This means that Paradise and Hell are not two distinct and separate places but two conditions or states of mind. A well-known saying of the Holy Prophet gives an insight into the Quranic conception of Paradise and Hell. Once on being asked by some of his Companions: "If Paradise comprises in its vastness heavens and earth, where is Hell," the Holy Prophet is reported to have replied, preceding verse shows that Paradise (a) in fact means the pleasure of God a beautiful What. (رضوان) conception of Paradise! 4165. Commentary: (Book) may signify divine law or knowledge. It may also signify the Quran. According to the first meaning, the verse would signify that everything is subject to a certain law of nature. According to the second it may mean that the causes and cures of misery befalling nations and individuals have been mentioned in signifying في الارض i. e. where is the night the Quran, the words الليل اذا جاء النهار when the day comes (Ibn Kathir). Besides, the substitution of the words in the verse under مغفرة من ربكم وجنة 3102 people in general, and meaning the Muslims as a whole or every individual.
