CH. 45 AL-JATHIYAH PT. 25 وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ أَفَادٍ أَثِيْمن 8. Woe to every sinful liar, 3737 يَسْمَعُ أَيتِ اللهِ تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ Who hears the Signs of <mark>Allah</mark>. 9 مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَانْ لَّمْ يَسْمَعُهَا فَبَشِّرُهُ بِعَذَابِ البيه recited unto him, and then proudly persists in his disbelief, as though he heard them not. So give him the tidings of a painful punishment. when he 10. And something of Our Signs, "he وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنْ أَيْتِنَا شَيْئًا اتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًا learns أُولَكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ makes a jest of them. For such there is an abasing punishment. مِنْ وَرَابِهِمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُمْ مَّا Before them is Hell; and. 11 كَسَبُوا شَيْئًا وَلَا مَا اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أوْلِيَاءَ ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمُ that which they have earned shall not avail them aught, nor shall those whom they have taken for protectors beside <mark>Allah</mark>. And they will have a great punishment. 3738 هُذَا هُدًى وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا بِايْتِ رَبِّهِمْ This is true guidance. And. 12 لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِّنْ رِجْزِ اليمن for those who disbelieve in the Signs of their <mark><mark>Lord</mark></mark> is the torture of a painful punishment. "2:232; 31:7. 14:17-18. 2:40; 22:58. under Important Words, the expression :would mean فبأي حديث بعده يؤمنون (i) In what word or discourse, after rejecting the Word of <mark>Allah</mark> and after rejecting His signs, will they believe? (ii) In what word, contrary to the Word of <mark>Allah</mark> and His signs, will they believe? (iii) In what word, after the Word of <mark>Allah</mark> and His signs have come, will they believe? (iv) In spite of the fact that the | 2888 Word of God and His signs have come to them, they do not believe in them. Then in what else would they believe? 3737. Commentary: Evidently a man who rejects clear signs of God is a forger and teller of lies and a committer of abominations and, therefore, legitimately deserves a painful punishment. 3738.
