PT. 25 AZ-ZUKHRUF CH. 43 مِنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ and cattle whereon you ride, لِتَسْتَوْا عَلَى ظُهُورِهِ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ That you may sit firmly upon. 14 their backs, and then, "when you may remember the favour رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا you are firmly seated thereon سُبْحَنَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا of your Lord, and say, “Holy is He Who has subjected these to us, and we were not capable of subduing them ourselves. 3650 15. And to our Lord surely shall we return. '3651 لَهُ مُقْرِنِيْنَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبَّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ وَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ إِنَّ And they assign to him a. 16 portion of His servants as His children. Indeed man is clearly & ungrateful. 3652 R. 2. الْإِنْسَانَ لَكَفُورٌ مُّبِينٌ اَمِ اتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنْتٍ وَأَصْفُكُمْ Has He taken daughters. 17 بِالْبَنِينَ from what He has created, and honoured you with sons? وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ Yet when tidings are given. 18 to one of them of that the like of "11:42; 23:29. 6:101; 16:58; 37:153; 52:40; 53:22. 16:59. 3650. Important Words: for travel. In the present verse attention is drawn to the fact that man (capable of subduing) is should not lose sight of the journey to derived from. They say,his spiritual goal which is God i. e. he had the power and the أقرن الشيء strength to do the thing, he had the requisite ability and strength for it. means, having the power or being able to do a thing (Aqrab). 3651. Commentary: In the preceding two verses we were told that God has made boats and ships so that we may use them 2851 Himself. 3652. Commentary: The Surah had opened with the subject of revelation, of which the basic purpose is the establishment of Divine Unity. This and the following few verses repudiate the idolatrous doctrine of assigning sons and daughters to God.
