PT. 24 ḤĀ MĪM AS-SAJDAH CH. 41 ذلِكَ جَزَاءُ أَعْدَاءِ اللهِ النَّارُ لَهُمْ فِيهَا That is the reward of the. 29 enemies of Allah the Fire. For دَارُ الْخُلْدِ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا بِايْتِنَا them there will be an abiding يَجْحَدُونَ home therein as a requital because they persisted in denying Our Signs. وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّنَا اَرِنَا الَّذِيْنِ And those who disbelieve. 30 will say, 'Our Lord, show us أَضَلُّنَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ نَجْعَلُهُمَا those who led us astray from among both the Jinn and men, that we may trample them under our feet so that both of them may be of the lowest. '3580 تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ الْأَسْفَلِينَ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا As for those who say Our. 31 تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَيْكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِى كُنتُم تُوعَدُونَ Lord is Allah,' and then remain steadfast, the angels descend on them, saying: 'Fear ye not, nor grieve; and receive glad tidings of the Garden which you were promised. 3581 "33:69; 38:62. 21:103; 46:14. deeds of disbelievers whose hein- ousness had led to forfeiture of pardon, and will forgive most other crimes. See also 42:31. 3580. Commentary: The word means, two groups or sets of people, one from among the jinn and the other from among men. 3581. Commentary: The present and the next verse show that it is in this very life that angels descend upon the Faithful to give them consolation and comfort when they exhibit perseverance in the midst of severe trials and tribulations. 2811 It is when the Faithful are beset with dangers all round, when they are threatened with loss of life, property and honour in the path of God, and whatever is consoling and comforting forsakes them, so much so, that God tries them by closing the door of heartening visions and revelations for a time; it is when they are surrounded by all these dreary conditions and though the last ray of hope passes away, yet they show perseverance- that the angels of God descend upon them, giving them the message of hope and good cheer. It is then that God reveals His beautiful Face to them.
