PT. 24 AL-MU'MIN CH. 40 تَدْعُونَنِي لِاكْفُرَ بِاللهِ وَأُشْرِكَ بِه مَا You invite me to disbelieve. 43 in Allah, and to associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, while I invite you to the Mighty, the Great Forgiver. 3527 لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمُ وَأَنَا أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى الْعَزِيزِ الْغَفَّارِ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ Surely, that to which you. 44 call me has no title to be called دَعْوَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَاَنَّ upon in this world or in the Hereafter; and that our return is certainly to Allah and that the transgressors will be the inmates of the Fire. مَرَدَّنَا إِلَى اللهِ وَاَنَّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أصْحَبُ النَّارِ فَسَتَذْكُرُونَ مَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ وَاُفَوِّضُ So you will soon remember. 45 what I say to you. And I entrust اَمْرِى إِلَى اللهِ اِنَّ اللهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ my cause to Allah. Verily, Allah sees all His servants. " فَوَقْهُ اللهُ سَيِّاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا وَحَاقَ بِالِ The result was that Allah. 46 preserved him from the evils of whatever they plotted, and a grievous punishment encompassed the people of Pharaoh- 3528 فِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ الْعَذَابِ النَّارُ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا غُدُوًّا وَعَشِيَّا The Fire. They are exposed. 47 قف to it morning and evening. And وَيَوْمَ تَقُوْمُ السَّاعَةُ أَدْخِلُوا آلَ on the day when the Hour is come, it will be said: 'Cast 3527. Commentary: Whereas, as stated above in v. 42, the believers have an invincible faith in the truth of their cause, the disbelievers grope in the darkness of doubt and lack of knowledge. All disbelief springs from ignorance and superstition. 3528. Commentary: It seems that the people of Pharaoh had hatched a plot to kill the "believing man" or do him some other grievous injury. Not only did the plot itself fall through but a terrible punishment also encompassed the plotters. 2785
