CH. 35 FĂŢIR PT. 22 وَإِنْ تُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ And if they reject thee. 5 قَبْلِكَ وَإِلَى اللهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ verily, <mark><mark>God</mark></mark>'s Messengers have been rejected before thee; and unto <mark><mark>Allah</mark></mark> all matters are brought back for decision. 3179 promise of <mark><mark>Allah</mark></mark> is true, so let يَايُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا O ye men, assuredly the. 6 وقفة تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيُوةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ not the present life deceive you بِاللهِ الْغَرُورُ nor let the Deceiver deceive you with respect to <mark><mark>Allah</mark></mark>. 3180 إِنَّ الشَّيْطَنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا <mark>Surely</mark>, Satan is an ene<mark><mark><mark>my</mark></mark></mark> to. 7 إِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَب He calls his followers only that السَّعِيرة you; so take him for an ene<mark><mark><mark>my</mark></mark></mark>. they may become inmates of the burning Fire. الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ For those <mark>who</mark> disbelieve. 8 there is a severe punishment. وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصلح لَهُمْ And for those <mark>who</mark> believe and do good works there is "6:35; 22:43; 40:6; 54:10. 2:169; 12:6; 18:51; 20:118. truth that they will not be allowed to thwart <mark><mark>God</mark></mark>'s plan and purpose as "He is the Mighty, the Wise!" 3179. Commentary: After it has been mentioned in the all the Divine Messengers and Prophets before him were also rejected, opposed and persecuted, but the enemies of truth could never frustrate <mark><mark>God</mark></mark>'s plan but themselves always came to grief. 3180. Commentary: preceding verses that a great Divine gift is about to be bestowed on mankind in the form of the Quran and after the would-be rejecters have been warned not to hasten to reject it, the Holy Prophet is told in the present verse that he will be rejected, opposed and persecuted but this should not discourage or dismay him because his opposition and persecution would be no new thing as | astray. 2628 It is really love of the world that leads man to sin. This is why "the present life" has been mentioned in the verse before the mention of "the Deceiver" <mark>who</mark> is Satan. This shows that it is man himself <mark>who</mark> first becomes mentally corrupt and then Satan comes to deceive and lead him
