"The Book there is no doubt about it is from the Lord of the worlds. 3059 أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَريهُ بَلْ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ Do they say, “He has forged. 4 لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أَتُهُمْ مِنْ نَّذِيرٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ it?' Nay, it is the truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest warn a people to whom no Warner has come before thee, that they may be guided. 3060 3058. Commentary: See. 1:1. "Seel:1. 30:2. 20:5; 40:3; 46:3. d28:47; 36:7. 3058A. Commentary: The abbreviated letters J have a subtle and far-reaching connection with the subject of the revelation of the Quran because all the Surahs having these abbreviated letters in their beginning, viz. the 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 29th, 30th, 31st Surahs and the present one, open with this important subject, which is quite significant. See also 2:2. 3059. Commentary: (2) The revelation of this Book in which there is no doubt is from the Lord of all the worlds. (3) The fact that this Book contains all the conceivable beauties and excellences which a revealed Scripture must possess, leaves no doubt in its being revealed by the Lord of the worlds. (4) Since this Book has undoubtedly been revealed by the Lord of the worlds its teachings are meant for the whole of mankind. 3060.
