PT. 21 AR-RŪM CH. 30 وَلَقَدْ ضَرَ بْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ And truly, "We have set. 59 forth for men in this Quran Lokale eyessé كُلِّ مَثَلٍ وَلَبِنْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِايَةٍ لَّيَقُولَنَّ every kind of parable, and الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا مُبْطِلُونَ Sign, those who disbelieve will indeed, if thou bring them a surely Say, 'You are but liars. '3031 كَذلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ Thus does Allah seal the. 60 لَا يَعْلَمُونَ hearts of those who have no knowledge. 3032 فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللهِ حَقٌّ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَنَّكَ ,So be thou patient. Surely. 61 الَّذِينَ لَا يُوْقِنُوْنَ ® the promise of Allah is true; and let not those who have no "17:90; 39:28. 9:93; 16:109; 47:17. have not trodden upon the threshold of his door. means, he asked, solicited or sought his favour; or he asked or requested him to be regarded with favour or to be taken into his favour or he desired or sought of him that he shall return to making him happy or to doing what was pleasing to him, from doing evil to him; he granted him his goodwill or favour; regarded him with goodwill: became pleased with him. means, the threshold of a door (Aqrab & Lane). amends for the sins they would have committed; (c) no excuse in their defence will be accepted from them; and (d) they will not be taken into God's favour. 3031. Important Words: مثل parable is derived from) مثل (mathala) and means, a description, condition, state, case, etc. ; (2) argument, reason; (3) discourse; In view of these different meanings of (4) lesson or example; (5) a proverb; the root word the clause would mean: (a) They will not be allowed to approach the divine threshold. i. e. they will be treated as rejected and condemned; (b) the time of their punishment having already arrived, they will not be permitted to make 2519 or (6) a parable Sign; (7) a similitude (Aqrab & Lane). See also 2:18,107; 6:39 & 14:36. 3032. Commentary: The verse makes it clear that the hearts of only those people are "sealed" who reject divine knowledge that comes to them through a Divine Reformer.
