CH. 29 AL-'ANKABŪT PT. 20 وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّبِعُوا And those who disbelieve. 13 stay say to those who believe, سَبِيلَنَا وَلْتَحْمِلْ خَطيكُم وَمَاهُمُ Follow our way, and we will surely bear your sins. ' And they بِحَمِلِينَ مِنْ خَطيهُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ cannot bear aught of their sins They are surely liars. 2949 إِنَّهُمْ لَكَذِبُونَ وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ But they shall surely bear. 14 شر their own burdens, and other أَثْقَالِهِمْ وَلَيَسْتَلُنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيمَةِ عَمَّا burdens along with their own burdens. And they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection concerning that which they fabricated. 2950 R. 2. હું كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ And We certainly sent Noah. 15 to his people, and he dwelt فِيهِمُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامَّا among them a thousand years فَاَخَذَهُمُ القُوْفَانُ وَهُمْ ظُلِمُونَ ) save fifty years. Then the deluge overtook them, while they were wrongdoers. 2951 "14:22; 40:48. 16:26. 2949. Commentary: Besides the hypocrites there is another class of men—the aggressive leaders of disbelief, who, taking advantage of their own high social status, seek to mislead others who are not so highly placed in life, telling them that they will bear all the loss the latter will incur by accepting their lead and by refusing to accept the true new Faith. 2950. Commentary: The verse alludes to the leaders of disbelief to whom a reference has 2472 also been made in the preceding verse and says that they will have to suffer the punishment for deluding and misleading others in addition to the punishment for their own disbelief and sins. 2951. Important Words: (year) is derived both from d e the food. سنه الطعام They say. سنو and rotted; or it rotted by the lapse of years. As derived from in this word (a) signifies "a simple revolution of the sun," i. e. a simple revolution of the earth round the sun.
