CH. 28 AL-QAŞAŞ PT. 20 وَمَا كُنتَ تَرْجُوا أَنْ يُلْقَى إِلَيْكَ الْكِتُبُ 87. And thou didst never expect that the Book would be revealed إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ ظَهِيرًا to thee; but it is a mercy from تِلْكَفِرِينَ thy Lord; so never be a helper of those who disbelieve. 2936A وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ أَيْتِ اللهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أُنْزِلَتْ And let them not turn thee. 88 away from the Signs of Allah, إِلَيْكَ وَادْعُ إِلى رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ after they have been sent down مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ to thee; and call mankind to thy Lord, and be not of those who associate equals with Him. 2937 وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللهِ الهَا أَخَرَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا And call not on any other. 89 قف هُوَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكُ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ god but He. Everything will لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ god beside Allah. There is no perish save that to which He directs His attention. Commentary: Prophet is told that he did not have the remotest idea that he would ever be made the bearer of the Divine Message but now that he has actually been entrusted with the great and difficult task of preaching the truth, he should 'call mankind to God' and like a great soldier fight his way to success. 2938.
