PT. 18 AN-NUR CH. 24 وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَخْشَ الله And whoso obeys Allah. 53 and His Messenger, and fears Allah, and takes Him as a shield for protection, it is they who will be successful. وَيَتَّقْهِ فَأُولَيْكَ هُمُ الْفَابِزُونَ وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَبِنْ And they swear by Allah. 54 اَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَخْرُجُنَّ قُلْ لَّا تُقْسِمُوا command them, they will surely b their strongest oaths that, if thou go forth. Say, 'Swear not; what what is right. Surely, Allah is طَاعَةٌ مَّعْرُوفَةٌ إِنَّ اللهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا is required is obedience in تَعْمَلُونَ well aware of what you do. '2629 اَطِيْعُوا اللهَ وَاَطِيْعُوا الرَّسُولَ فَإِنْ Say, “Obey Allah, and obey. 55 the Messenger. ' But if you turn تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ مَا حُمِّلَ وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَّا away, then upon him is his حُمِّلْتُمْ وَإِنْ تُطِيْعُوهُ تَهْتَدُوا وَمَا burden, and upon you is your burden. And if you obey him, you will be rightly guided. "And the Messenger is not responsible but for the plain delivery of the Message. عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَاغُ الْمُبِينُ وَعَدَ اللهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا Allah has promised to those. 56 among you who believe and do الصّلِحُتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا good works that He will surely "4:47. 5:93; 64:13. 4:14; 33:72; 48:18. 16:36; 29:19; 36:18. perfect code of laws and its injunctions and commandments cover exerted himself; he employed himself vigorously or with energy; he took ,means جهد في الامر all the different aspects of human life | extraordinary pains and the Holy Prophet is the final authority on all matters that concern the national life of Muslims. See also 4:66. 2629. Important Words: جهد he did his utmost or used his utmost power in prosecuting the affair. (jahdun) means, utmost power or ability or extraordinary painstaking, ;means, the most solemn جهد أيمانهم. etc strongest or most forcible or energetic | جهد their strongest oaths) جهد أيمانهم means, he strove or laboured; he | oaths (Lane & Aqrab). 2287
