CH. 23 سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ) PT. 18 AL-MU'MINŪN 86. 'To Allah', they will say. Say, 'Will you not then be admonished?' قُلْ مَنْ رَّبُّ السَّمَوتِ السَّيْعِ وَرَبُّ Say, "Who is the Lord of the. 87 الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ b سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ seven heavens, and the Lord of the Great Throne?' 88. They will say, 'They are Allah's. ' Say, 'Will you not then take Him as your Protector?' 2569 dominion over all things and قُلْ مَنْ بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ Say, “In Whose hand is the. 89 jkýja يُجِيرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ Who protects, but against تَعْلَمُونَ سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ فَأَنَّى تُسْحَرُونَ Whom there is not protection, if you know?' 2570 90. They will say, 'All this belongs to Allah. ' Say, 'How a36:84. else with Him. This argument has been enlarged and developed in the following verses. 2569. Important Words: (take as your protector) is from which means, he became God- fearing. means, he feared such a one and was on his guard against him and avoided him. They say i. e. while facing an enemy we placed him in front of us shielding or control over it. . means, he became the ruler of the people. means, he married the woman or became her husband. means, great kingdom; honour; complete control; argument (Lane & Aqrab). See also 1:4 and 6:76. ✗(He grants protection) is derived from which is further derived from which means, he pursued a wrong course; he acted unjustly. & means, protecting ourselves by him (Aqrab). he delivered him from evil; he aided he protected him; granted him refuge; See also 2:3. 2570. Important Words: (dominion) is derived from (malaka). They say i. e. he possessed the thing and had complete 2233 or assisted him; he rescued him. means, he sought his protection. means, He grants protection but protection cannot be had against Him or against His will (Lane & Aqrab).
