It purports to say that their mental faculties are limited. They can deal with only such matters of which they have made a special study. These people have not the capacity even to understand and appreciate these matters, much less to produce a book like the Quran- humanity's infallible guide. In spite of their patent inability to accept the above challenge they persist in their denial of the Divine origin of the Quran out of sheer obstinacy.
