CH. 10 YŪNUS PT. 11 إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّلِحَتِ But as for those who. 10 believe, and do good works,― يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِإِيْمَانِهِمْ ۚ تَجْرِى مِنْ their Lord shall guide them because of their faith. Thus, by using the word (abode) with regard to the fire of Hell the Quran means to point out that it is not with the intent of torture but a necessary means of purification. 1285. Commentary: Speaking of the punishment of sinners, the verse says, It is these whose abode is Fire.
