Commentary: The words, an unfailing promise that He has made incumbent on Himself in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran, mean that the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran contain clear promises of divine favour and i. e. the water flowed or ran freely on the surface of the earth. assistance for those who strive in the serving Him) is the plural of ³lw which is the active participle from which means, it flowed.
