PT. 10 AT-TAUBAH CH. 9 يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللهِ They desire to extinguish. 32 the light of Allah with their بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ mouths; but Allah will permit وَلَوْكَرِهَ الْكَفِرُونَ nothing except that He will perfect His light, though the disbelievers may dislike it. 1192 هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُوْلَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِيْنِ He it is Who sent His. 33 Messenger with guidance and الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْكَرِهَ the Religion of Truth, that He الْمُشْرِكُونَ may make it prevail over every other religion, even though the idolaters may dislike it. 1193 Commentary: "61:9. 48:29; 61:10. ✓ (learned men) belonged to Jews and (monks) to Christians. Both these people virtually looked upon their religious leaders as so many gods besides the true God. 1192. Commentary: 1193. Commentary: The previous verse ends with the word (disbelievers), while the present verse ends with the word (idolaters). Christians are because they disbelieve in the Holy Prophet of Islam and they are because they associate co-partners with God. The difference is The words, They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with their significant in another way also. The mouths, signify that they seek to word (used in the preceding injure the cause of Islam by making verse) is derived from which false propaganda against it and by literally means "to cover. " The Quran inciting others to harm it. Him point to the fact that while in the case of God, Christians do not refrain from associating co-partners with (thereby implying that His attributes can be shared by others), in their own case they cannot bear to see the favour of prophethood, which they enjoy, shared by others.
