CH. 7 AL-A'RĀF PT. 9 ج قَوْمُةٌ أَنِ اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَ when his people asked drink of him, saying, 'Strike the rock فَانْبَجَسَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا قَدْ with thy rod; and from it there gushed forth twelve springs; عَلِمَ كُلُّ أَنَاسِ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ every tribe knew their drinking ط place. And 'We caused the clouds الْغَمَامَ وَاَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلوى to overshadow them, and We كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَتِ مَا رَزَقْنَكُمْ وَمَا sent down for them Manna and Salwā: 'Eat of the good things they wronged Us not, but it was ظَلَمُوْنَا وَلَكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ We have provided for you. And يَظْلِمُونَ themselves that they wronged. 1050 وَإِذْ قِيْلَ لَهُمُ اسْكُنُوا هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ وَكُلُوا And when it was said to. 162 مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ وَقُولُوا حِظَةً وَادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا نَّغْفِرُ لَكُم خَطِيتِكُمْ سَنَزِيْدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ط them, “Dwell in this town and eat therefrom wherever you will, and say, God! lighten our burden,' and enter the gate in humility, We shall forgive you your sins, and surely We shall give increase to those who do good. "1051 163. "But the فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ قَوْلًا غَيْرَ transgressors among them changed it for a word other than that which was said to them. So We sent upon them a punishment because of heaven, wrongdoing. 1052 from their الَّذِي قِيْلَ لَهُمْ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِجْزًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَظْلِمُونَ 1050.
