PT. 8 AL-AN'ĀM CH. 6 الْآيَتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ have, indeed, explained the Signs in detail for a people who would be admonished. لَهُمْ دَارُ السَّلْمِ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمْ For them is the abode of. 128 بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ E peace with their Lord, and He is their Friend because of their works. 868 b وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يُمَعْشَرَ الْجِنَّ And on the day when He. 129 will gather them all together, He قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُم مِّنَ الْإِنْسِ وَقَالَ will say, “O company of jinn you sought to make subservient اَوْلِيَؤُهُمْ مِّنَ الْإِنْسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ to yourselves a great many from بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَ بَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَلْتَ لَنَا قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَلُكُمْ خُلِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللهُ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمُ عَلِيمٌ among men!' And their friends from among men will say, 'Our Lord! we profited from one another but now we have reached our term which Thou didst appoint for us. Commentary: As (peace) is also one of the names of God, the expression may also be rendered as the abode of God, i. e. the presence of God.
