CH. 6 PT. 7 77. And when the AL-AN'ĀM darkened upon him, he saw a فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ الَّيْلُ رَا كَوْكَبًا قَالَ night هُذَا رَى فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَا أُحِبُّ !star. ' But when it set, he said, 'O my people, surely I am clear of that which you associate with God. 824 بَرِى مِمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ. اِنّى وَجَهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ I have turned my face. 80 toward Him Who created the السَّمَوتِ وَالْاَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَا heavens and the earth, being ever inclined to God, and I am not of those who associate gods with God.
