CH. 6 AL-AN'ĀM PT. 7 وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَتَوَفُكُمْ بِالَّيْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا And He it is Who takes. 61 your souls by night and knows جَرَحْتُم بِالنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُكُمْ فِيهِ that which you do by day; then لِيُقْضَى أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ He raises you up again therein, that the appointed term may be مَرْجِعُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ completed. Then to Him is your تَعْمَلُونَ return. Then will He inform you of what you used to do. 806 a39:43. The word (Book) also signifies embedded in the heart of man and knowledge. No one who is devoid of perfect knowledge is qualified to punish. Again, God alone knows how far hardship or influences the actions of a man. He alone knows whether or not the good works done by a man have been rendered null and void through the operation of other causes. He alone knows the grains of virtue that lie 872 of all things and all conditions and all possibilities and all potentialities, and therefore, He alone can say whether a man deserves to be punished or not. 806.
